Greetings from sunny and sometimes rainy Puerto Rico! Hola as well to all of the family and friends of our Puerto Rico Ambassadors! It has been a whirlwind of activity since our arrival Monday afternoon. Everyone made it just fine along with their luggage. The Ambassadors have been immersed in the Puerto Rican culture and lifestyle from the very get go. From language to food and lifestyle to family. So what will the Ambassadors actually be doing in Puerto Rico??? Good Question! The Puerto Rico Ambassador team will be in Hatillo, Puerto Rico continuing relationships with teens in a local park through morning camps and evening activities. Ministry For the past two weeks, short term teams have been cultivating relationships with teens in the neighborhood of Mar Azul in Hatillo. The AMB team will help to grow these relationships more intentionally since they will be in the area longer than these past teams. Our first week here in Puerto Rico has been nothing short of incredible! We are in Juana Diaz, staying at Campamento del Caribe, a camp that runs several children’s camps throughout the summer. Hundreds of lives have been changed because of Campamento del Caribe and we’re so grateful to be a part of this. The week after our team leaves Puerto Rico, the first camp of the summer begins, and they’re expecting a lot of kids. Our role here has been to ready the grounds for the arrival of these kids by painting, cleaning, building things, etc.  There is so much to do...

Hey awesome family, friends, and supporters of the Puerto Rica team! A quick update for y’all —  Just got a call from the team leaders and they are on the ground in Puerto Rica.  Getting some dinner at a Pizza Hut (score!) and heading to their ministry location. We have had a GREAT couple of days here so far!  Other than the terrible humidity — everything is near perfect!! Here are some pics of our time so far….
