Ireland Thus Far

Travel Days:   7.5.11 Today was supposed to be our first day in Ireland, but we had a few snafus in our travel plans. Currently we are sitting in the Newark airport for four more hours until take off. However, our ministry has already begun. These kids are incredible! Allow me to rewind to yesterday. Yesterday, we left AIM around 9:30AM to drive to the ATL airport where we were planning on spending about five hours before our flight to Newark. Set Me Free Drime

So. We learnt this drime at Training Camp. We weren’t supposed to learn one but plans were changed and we learnt this really cool drama/mime all thanks to our marvelous teacher.  We preformed it on the last day of Kids Camp to the teenagers.  It was to a song called Set Me Free by Casting Crowns. The drama was pretty much about a girl(annie) being lost  and confused. She’s looking around and searching for answers when suddenly 2 deamons (Sarah and Anna) attack her and torment her. Irish Church

So. All is well in Ireland. July 6th was when we started kids camp. It was amazing! So many childrens lives were touched by the Lord. He is just working in amazing ways for and through all of us! Throughout the week we did some sight seeing. We went to visit a lighthouse which reminded me soo much of home! After that we went to this run down, beat up church. It was the most beautiful thing ever. One room had the roof all torn off and the whole floor was covered in green foliage. The light just invaded the whole room and made a magnificent atmosphere. Great Craic in Ireland

Praise God

We have been having such an amazing time here. Kids camp went so well.  It was so awesome to be a part of. Me and Laura were leaders together of one group of 8 -10 year olds which was a lot of fun the kids were all well behaved which was such a blessing. We were telling the kids how we were from America and one of are boys was you came all the way over here for us….then in the most sincere way he said thank you. It was so cute.
