Healing, Growing, and Praying

I’ve learned so many things from this trip already. From healing, to growing, to praying. I now know for sure that God wants me to be on the mission field and I’m so excited. There’s no more joy than being able to serve others through Christ, even when it gets tough. I’m so thankful that God had given me a purpose because I would be lost without Him.  -Maggie Millichamp

Learning to Trust His Voice

       Just before I wrote this I was laying in a hammock looking up at the top of the trees of the rain forest. I couldn’t believe that I was actually in Costa Rica sitting in a hammock in an area that looks like a picture on a postcard. With that picture in mind, I have two stories to share that kinda connect to each other and I feel that they accurately depict how God is moving in me and through me so far on this trip.        For context on the first story, I have always struggled with trusting God with my own well being or my own decisions, but...

birthdays in swazi::: abigail brown

So yesterday was my birthday!! We did market ministry in the morning which was so much fun. I had met a lady at the market the day before and bought fabric from her, so I visited her again in the morning. I’m so excited to see her again! We shopped after ministry and on the bus ride home we pretty much jammed out the whole time which was so much fun. During dinner Logan apologized for not...

They fly by the seam of their pants, and when they do make plans, they are very susceptible to change. Know that plans will change, but God’s plan...

Market Ministry

Markets are busy, bustling, and full to the brim… They all have life, and color, and a fullness to them that you won’t find many other places. The people pour over the different articles, foods, and furnishings as they decide on their purchases, going to old friends or trying someone new. The team meets in the midst of the market area to encourage those around them with singing or with prayer.          Hear from some of the team about their experiences:   I first want to start off by saying bucket showers are amazing (forgot to mention in my last blog...
