Yesterday the team had an opportunity  to go on a local radio station and minister to the people of Guatemala. flight one. hour 4/13. an old man placed at the window seat of the plane unveiled the plastic cover from the protective glass it hides. i straighten my back trying to poke my head above the rows of chairs separating my eyes from peaking at the light. and wow. blended oh so delicately are golden streaks of pink and orange and yellow that rest on top of the plain canvas of dusty clouds we are quite literally flying above. somehow god always picks the right paintbrush. the plane cabin was very well dimmed and darkened to accompany the atmosphere of resting minds and bodies; yet, it took only one...

The team has arrived at the base in Swaziland.  They are getting settled in.  

The team has landed in South Africa.  They will be meeting up with their host.  

  Here is a glimpse into what a few of the members of the GUAT team have experienced since training camp and the first days in Guatemala.    Today I had the most energy out of any day of the week – and I am running on an hour and a half of sleep. I have seen God work some stunning miracles since the day we got to training camp and even within the first hour of arriving at the airport. The team has made it to the Base where they will be serving the rest of the month.  The team is settling in and ready to jump into whatever the Lord has for them.
