Jabin Jones Currently at the airport with my teammates and finally get the opportunity to reflect on what I experienced at training camp. Guatemala Update Part 2: Activation and Healing

Thursday was all around just a huge blessing to us and every single person we interacted with that day. We spent the day in San Lorenzo where we did street ministry as well as stove installation. At one of the first doors we knocked on, there was a young lady named Natalie. Natalie was immobile due to a knee injury which was covered in a brace. We asked her what the pain was on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst) and she said nine. We all laid a hand on her leg and began to pray. After our first prayer she said it felt a little bit better, so we continued on and prayed a second prayer....

Guatemala Week 1

Hi everyone!! I’m really not sure how many days we have been in Guatemala, but I do know that every single one of them has been absolutely amazing! I think that I can speak for everyone, on the four-week team and the two-week team, that we all love being here. So far, for ministry, we have put on a VBS for the kids in a local community, spent time doing street ministry, door-to-door ministry, and visiting a home for seniors. Personally, I love doing the VBS and door-to-door ministry because I have been able to get to know some of the kids and talk with their parents. Door-to-door...

Pushing Limits

Training camp has been so amazing for me! I have had so much fun taking bucket showers and laughing with my team. From laughing at Mackenzie because she screams so loud at bugs to getting all six of us up a twelve foot wall, training camp has truly been an amazing and unique experience. God is really testing me on this trip because I have never done anything like this before. I was really pushed to my limits, such as my trust with others.
