Love and deep, deep feelings

Hey hello hi from Africa! We just ended our first day of ministry here in Swaziland. Well, the day isn’t over yet. So we still have ministry opportunity. Thats a cool thought. Its Friday, July 3, 2015 – just a regular date besides the fact it is the day before the forth of July. But not for me. Not for our team. Today we did what we have been preparing to do for months, for days, this is why we flew 15 hours and drove probably, 5 hours, this is why we went through training camp, why we did team building games, why we prayed and worshiped, why we begged for wisdom to rain down on...

A Little Something From Listening Prayer

I heard from God today during listening prayer and this is what He had to say:   Ever since arriving at Albania I’ve constantly been saying and hearing others on my team say how beautiful this country is. He formed this country perfectly from the mountains, to the trees, the people, the stars, the sunsets, the moon, and everything we see. He filled this world with so much beauty. He formed the landscapes perfectly both the Earth and the sky. Pure perfection. Remember that this is the same God who formed you. Team Nicaragua

When I think about the last week with Team Nicaragua, the only word I know to say is ‘thankful’.  I’m thankful for the beautiful sons and daughters that God has trusted me to lead and I’m thankful for their hearts for serving the Kingdom.  I’m thankful for the incredible co-leader that I love working with and I’m thankful for the amazing contacts that challenge the teams’ walk with the Lord on a daily basis.  Everything about the last week has been a beautiful adventure.   Some of the girls from Team Nicaragua exploring the...

Team Albania, alive and well

Greetings, Team Albania is alive and well! We made it to Albania and to our ministry site safely. We were a little jet lagged but almost fully adjusted. Kids arrive to the camp on the 6th, there will be about 45-55 of them ages 8-10. Our ministry site is filled with farm animals including hundreds of pigs, sheep, cows, chickens and more. The goats have it going on, according to Andy:) it is absolutely beautiful here! We have very nice living accommodations. There are two rooms (one for girls, one for guys) with bunk beds. We have been fed very well, and large portions! We have squatties (at...

Bienvenidos a Camp Caribe!

After a little bit of sleep, and lot of fun at training camp, our team, Las Solicitantes (the seekers) set our alarms Sunday night for 2:45 AM! We drank some coffee and enjoyed our sack breakfasts in our fr-fr-freeeeezing terminal at the airport, anxiously awaiting our flight to San Jose, Puerto Rico! We prayed for safety and smooth sailing (flying?) and The Lord provided.    After landing, our contacts Kaylah and Harry picked us up, and we got to enjoy some real Puerto Rican food for lunch… tacos from taco bell 😉 The commute to our camp took about 45 minutes, and we...
