Going on a mission trip for the first time can be intimidating, especially if you’re with strangers. However, it can also be life changing.
For me, this trip so far has been a memorable one. On the last night of launch, during our worship time, I experienced God’s presence in a way that I’ve always longed for. I think a part of my heart grew closer to God and for that I am so thankful.
I’ve also experienced a lot of “firsts” on this journey. I’ve gone to three new places. I’m flown on a plane. I’ve done a prayer walk. I’ve done things I’ve always dreamed of doing while making an impact on other people’s lives. But most of all, the wonderful people and God make this trip amazing as I see his beautiful creations each and every day.
