Hello from Mexico!
Mark Van & Kayla Koontz- Howdy! This is our first blog update and we have decided to have each kid answer a different question (that I secretly intentionally specified for each kid- muah haha!) so you readers can gain great perspective on our first week impressions without re-reading the same thing over and over. The next blog update will having them digging deeper to answer whatever questions I am inspired to ask to reveal the mighty work of God in their lives.
In the week of us arriving we have attended two rallies, past out six hundred flyers, a few of us have walked the streets...
Another Update
The kids wanted you to know that it is HOT! High 90s to 100s with lots of humidity…..everyday. But, they are also doing amazing and loving the experience. Today we visited a Mayan ruin and they also found some great souveniers. Every one is safe, well fed, making new friends, and crazy as usual:) We can’t wait to share pictures and stories very soon. Love you and miss you all!!!Team Awesome
Singing in the Rain
The team was invited to hold a service at one of the local public schools in Eburu. The plan was that we would sing a few songs, someone would preach, a few others would share some testimonies and the team would share a drama.
Before the team headed out, Scott prayed that all expectations would be destroyed. It’s a good thing our hearts were prepared because things did not go as planned. We were originally wupposed to have 90 minutes, but we were quickly informed that plans had changed and we only had 40 minutes. Almost right after arriving, the rain clouds...
Having a Great Time!
We have had a GREAT couple of days here so far! Other than the terrible humidity — everything is near perfect!!

We have spent time doing community outreach and working with kids at a summer camp program. This team is incredible! Not only have they loved deeeply – but they just give 100% all the time.

Hola from Team Belize!
Yay! We found internet…… no really, it’s hard to come by here. We wanted to give you all an overview of what we have been up to in the beautiful country of Belize. Before we go there though, we wanted you to know that we are all safe and having a blast. Now, basically our ministry is KIDS, KIDS, and more KIDs. We have been doing a lot of activities with the local children in Georgeville, Belize Central America. Whether it is visiting schools or doing Vacation Bible School, they flock to us.
