Week 1 in Swaziland

Well, everyone…Swazi landed!  We got into the Johannesburg airport on the 5th and stayed at a missions hostel that night.  The following morning our team drove from South Africa to Manzini, Swaziland.  It was wonderful to sleep, talk, and take in our first views of the country.  It is a completely different world.  After settling in at our homestead that first night in Swazi, we had a cultural briefing and then made dinner.  Food has been an adventure.  Our team is huge and we don’t have very many resources, but the team has been great and...

Week 1 Update and Prayer Requests

After a couple of long travel days, we arrived on Tuesday to Nauta. We are very close to one of the headwaters to the Amazon. It is so beautiful here. We have been blessed with amazing contacts who are taking good care of us. There are tons of little ninos who come over and play with your children every day. This is one of our ministry. We have also have taught English to local youth, taught our drama to the same group of youth as a ministry, and done door-to-door evangelism and kids programs. Updates from Your Kids

Here is an update from your kids.  Be blessed – we are!!! Autumn: God is so amazing. He has touched my life in so many ways. He has given me new friends I know I can count on and trust I always have such a good time when I am with them. The work sight is awesome! It has changed so much since we arrived – I can’t believe it. We are working for a very nice man named Eric. He is a great guy but very lonely. My group is touching his life everyday we go there and I can see it is his face. Now my group is back at camp and we are sitting together and singing and laughing...

Adventures in Guatemala

We have officially been in Guatemala three full days and already God has done so much! We are staying in San Pedro, but we have been able to go into the community of San Pablo, (across the bay) and pray with families and visit in their homes. We have seen extremely different living situations than our own. Through our home visits, we have experienced the power of prayer. Our team has also helped with the construction of Pastor Antonio’s church yesterday (he is our contact here) by doing a mass cleaning of scraps and rocks from the church floor.
