Almost Home! (4 Week Trip)

So we have one more day of ministry before it is time to pack up and head to the airport! It has been a fun week of playing soccer, visiting church members in other towns, and unloading a truck of cinder blocks for a house. One More Week to Go! (4 Week Trip)

We have had a busy week here in Guatemala. We visited one of Pasto Antonio’s churches in San Juan, we finished our painting job in San Marcos, sang on Pastor Antonio’s radio show, and prayer walked through both San Pedro and San Pablo. We are excited to see what the Lord has for us before we leave next Friday! Please pray that we would finish strong in our last few days here. Halfway Through (4 Week Trip)

It’s been two weeks here in San Pedro, and we are beginning to feel like a part of Pastor Antonio’s family. We have celebrated holidays (both Guatemalan and American), prayed with members of the congregation in San Pablo, and helped spiff up a mountain church across the lake in San Marcos.  Cleaining the church in San Pablo. A Week into Our 2 Week Trip

We have been in Guatemala a few hours shy of a week.  Here are a few more glimpses of what we’ve been up to. Here is where we eat our meals.  We eat at the house of a family member of our pastor, Pastor Antonio.  We sit at 3 long tables and pretty much always end up laughing entirely too loud.  This is an example of a breakfast we have had.  The pastor’s wife is an incredible cook…we are guaranteed to not come home malnourished!   We have spent a lot of our time praying for people in two different communities- San Pablo and San...

First 48 Hours in Guatemala (2 Week Trip 2012)

Fun Ministry Times in San Pedro

We have been in San Pedro for two days now, and are working alongside Pastor Antonio at his church across the lake in San Pablo. Over the next few weeks we will have the opportunity to work with the families and children as well as the youth in the town. We have been very blessed by Pastor Antonio as he has given us multiple opportunities to explore San Pedro, and we even went to the Miss San Pedro pageant last night as well as watch the parade in honor of the winner this morning.
