Lovin’ Kenya!
Today we spoke with the leaders of Team Kenya and that’s what they had to say; “we’re loving Kenya!”
The team is full on into ministry! Kenyans are early risers – and so is this team! Their days start at 6am, serving breakfast to the children who are going to primer school a few miles away from where the team lives.
Some of the team works with the lower primary stuents during school hours playing games, teaching, and just loving on precious little ones!
In the later morning, the team does worship with some of the older students at the school, building relationships with them and taking up opportunity to share with them about Jesus!
The temperatures are cool but sunny. Jess and Ashley (2 of our awesome leaders!) said that everyone wears hoodies and pants under their skirts! Definantly a switch from the 100 degrees we enjoyed at Training Camp in Georgia this past week!
As of now the team is not near internet but this coming weekend the team will be moving to a city nearby that will hopefully have some internet connection. (No internet connection can ever be promised in East Africa – but we do our best!)
