¡Hola! Me llamo Kat!
I’m currently (7/7/18) driving through Puerto Rico looking at the epic mountains and jamming to “I can only Imagine” with some of the best humans I’ve ever met. I guess you could say I’m THRIVING! The place we’re staying is called Camp Caribe; I’ve never seen anything quite like it. If you look to the left, you‘re welcomed by the waves. And if you look to the right, the windmills and mountains surround the sea.
During quiet time every morning, we get to spend time with the Lord and sit in awe of His glory. I read, listen, admire, and talk with Him. Recently, He has been speaking to me through creation. And I’ve realized that every day He invites us to live in abundance. He seeks us out through the smell of a warm cup of coffee, the sounds of waves crashing upon the shore, and the vibrant colors of a sunset. Each day and moment is an invitation to join Jesus on an adventure. It’s an invitation to actually live for something greater than yourself. And the coolest thing about His invitation is that it’s open to everyone, and there is always more room in His Kingdom!
As a follower of Christ, we’re called to go out and invite others to this big adventure led by The King Himself! Working together with a group to be His hands and feet, I’m learning to say yes to new friendships, journeys, and ideas. The Holy Spirit has moved in unexplained ways, and I’m so excited to see what these next few days hold! Thank you Jesus!
