Clothes Drive

Sorting clothes; Jess handing out dresses!   Sam and Jamie helping the ladies figure out sizes. Yesterday, we were able to spend our afternoon handing out clothes to children at one of our carepoints. Two weeks ago we had sorted through truckloads of apparel and organized our findings according to size and gender. Now, we loaded up our hard work into four vehicles and traveled down bumpy, dusty roads to one of the rural carepoints. We had dozens of totes filled to the brim with shirts, socks, pants, dresses, hats and underwear. We set up a line of clothes where the...

Ireland Thus Far

Well…we made it to Ireland!  It is absolutely beautiful here and we are all in love with the land, people, and culture of the Irish!     Our host family Ruth and Andrew have lived in Buncrana for 7 years now and we have been so blessed by hearing their story and having the opportunity to be part of their ministry.     Andrew showed us around the first day we saw some really great landscapes, celtic crosses, and an ancient stone circle.  Andrew is officially the best tour guide in all the land.     Ruth and Andrew run a secular youth drop in...

God has taught me a lot on this trip. He has been teaching me about how to trust in Him more including what he has planned for me. -Riley Riley loving one of the young boys at our second carepoint.  God has been giving me faith to trust in...

4 Days into Ministry!

We are four days into ministry and having a blast! Yesterday was the first day of our kids program, and it was wonderful! From all the boys hanging on Adam to Robin teaching on the armor of God, it was a sight to behold. Thursday was Rachels birthday and she got to experience a real Peruvian birthday by having a raw egg cracked on her head, and we also had a delicious cake. This morning we were led to go visit a woman named Pati. She said she is very unhappy because she is treated poorly in her home by her childs father. She wants to move, but she cant until her son is finished with...
