So yesterday was pretty wild. Sameer (our ministry partner’s son) came and got us around like 5 AM. From our house, we went to the main road of Kathmandu and got on a bus to the outskirts of town. Once we were there we walked for a good distance down a hill and into a valley that was absolutely gorgeous. You could see rice patties and a small stream that flowed through them. There were also two large brick factories that were absolutely overflowing with bricks. Hello from Kathmandu! We have just finished up our first full day here in Nepal, and it’s been great!  All of us had plenty of time to catch up on sleep and adjust to all the newness that Nepal brings.
