My team that is separate from our whole team has been doing the community outreach aspect of the trip. Blog #2 Being truly satisfied. On every mission trip or Christian retreat we always talk about being “satisfied”, but I have never really gotten the concept of it. On this trip I think I have finally gotten it. To be truly satisfied in jesus is to give him your all, with no regrets, and letting him satisfy you. On our second day of ministry I was eager to hear more. Hear more from the people of Jamaica and truly dig into how they know God. That is when I met a man named Taffawha. After embarrassing myself in soccer not one but two days in a row, I pulled Taffawha aside to talk with some of my teammates. He told us about his family and what it was like growing up. My heart was so full after hearing about his love for Christ. He was eager to share his love for Christ and his determination to follow him all his days. It was in these moments that I truly noticed that God’s love is Everywhere....
