First Launch Training Camp Update

Training camp is underway and going very well! The participants have been able to hear some teachings, do some team building activities, worship, and spend time getting to know their teams. The First Ambassador Launch

The Guatemala 2 and 4 week, El Salvador, Ethiopia, and Nepal teams are all in Gainesville prepping for their trips.   We had a great first night of worship with the parents before everyone said their good byes.     We have two really full days ahead of us.  Thank you all for your prayers as the teams great ready to launch out to each their countries on Monday!

Short and Simple and Sponges (Post Trip analysis)

Two months ago I was leaving the country for the first time. I would be traveling for 41 hours to a place that is literally halfway around the world. I think I can say for my entire team that we expected something entirely different. Upon arrival, we immediately realized what it meant to be a foreigner. So What Was the Point?

  I had been planning for Africa since November.  I started a countdown on my phone with over 200 days until I left for the trip.  I fundraised over $5,000.  I bought “missions” clothes.  I took a month off of work.  Then I went.   And it was wonderful in every single way.  I experienced God in ways I never have before, and felt his love stronger than ever.  He gave me such peace about knowing that that was where I was supposed to be.  I poured everything I had into the kids and community we were working with, and He renewed me...

Hello beautiful child of God! My name is Skyler. This summer God took me on an amazing adventure to Swaziland. We hung out, talked, played, laughed and even cried. Now by “we,” yes I mean me and God, but I also mean my teammates, the Swazi people, the Swazi kids, and the AIM staff.
