Fun Ministry Times in San Pedro

We have been in San Pedro for two days now, and are working alongside Pastor Antonio at his church across the lake in San Pablo. Over the next few weeks we will have the opportunity to work with the families and children as well as the youth in the town. We have been very blessed by Pastor Antonio as he has given us multiple opportunities to explore San Pedro, and we even went to the Miss San Pedro pageant last night as well as watch the parade in honor of the winner this morning. Ready for our first day of ministry Waiting on the Miss San Pedro Parade Children in San Pablo

Hello friends and family! This morning we were up at an early 6am to clean and pack and leave the homestead (tears of sadness…but also of joy to never have to get a whiff of the squatties again!)  Of course we couldn’t leave the area without stopping at the corner store to purchase 100, yes that’s right, 100 fat cakes to munch on for breakfast.  The owner of the store actually woke up at 3am that day to make fat cakes for us because she knew we would be stopping by.  We felt so blessed! This past week has been bittersweet as we’ve had to say goodbye to...
