A Changing WorldFriends and Family,Hey y’all! How is everyone at home? I’m great! Things are fabulous here! My family here is so amazing and, despite the fact that I’m sure many of you don’t want to hear this, I really don’t want to come home! Kenya is so  amazing! The food here is so delicious and so healthy, it makes me so happy! God is so real here, and despite the fact that we aren’t living the way we were expecting, it’s much nicer, we are definitely experiencing God move and swiftly. We are all changing so fast and we are breaking for God...

God has been doing amazing things in Kenya. I LOVE the kids here! Especially in the slums. They are awesome at soccer here. But I am awesomer! (It helps that I am 3 times bigger than them) God has seriously broken me down and is just starting to build me back up and I could not imagine a better place for him to do that in than Nairobi. I just spoke with Scott (Team Leader) in Kenya and everyone is doing very well on the team! They are enjoying some of their last moments with the kids and Pastor they have been with! They are all loving Kenya and tomorrow the leaders have planned a ‘suprise’ for them! They will be in route back to Nairobi this evening and will be settling in these last couple of days to get ready to come back home! Thanks for all the prayers for this team!

Sorry for the delay in updates! we have been busy. God is very good to team Kenya. We have fantastic ministy partners in Deliverance Church Southlands and they are gracious hosts as well. The team has spent the last few days ministering to disabled adults, VBS in a slum, Sports Evangelism and speaking to kids in Public Schools. We are able to present a Bible story, sing songs and speak about our general lives as Americans. The great thing is the church is able to follow up with the kids in the schools and the church is nearby. It is a delight to be able to share the word of God in a public school...

Hey everybody!  We’re here at the Johannesburg airport, waiting to board our flight to Nairobi that leaves in two hours.  We’re almost to Kenya!! Everybody’s pretty tired after the 15 hour flight here, but the team are all wonderful travelers.  Seriously, as leaders, they have made Toya’s and my lives very easy with all the traveling. Well, I’ve had a great time at training camp.  It’s been so much fun to get to know the team and laugh with them a lot.  It’s also been incredibly awesome to watch God begin to move in all of our lives, for the team to open up with each other and begin to grow closer.  I know that God has definitely shown me a ton of things about my walk with him during the time, and I know that He’s doing the same in each person’s heart on the team.
