Over the past couple of days i have been looking over the idea of love. What does love look like? What does love say? How does love act? Why is it so easy to do and at the same time forget how precious it is. I’m guilty of throwing the word around as though it has no meaning. But the lord has begun to show me what true love is. Fear. How crippling that four letter word can be. We as humans fear so much. We fear the judgment of others and what they might think. We fear storms, bugs, lightning, and rollercoasters. Some fear the dark or the thought of being lonely someday. Many fear the reality of death, loss, and pain. Our whole lives we will go fearing something. As a child you feared the “monsters” that hid in the closet and under the bed. Spoke with the leaders this morning.  The team is good and enjoyed their time at church on Sunday.   They are adjusting to living together and in Jamaica.  This week the team will spend time learning the local language and preparing for VBS.  The place where they are staying is still  having internet issues.  know that the team is well and they appreciate your prayers.  

Talked with the team leader Tia this morning.  All the girls are doing well.  They were getting to head out to ministry so the conversation was short.   Everyone is engaging in ministry and the team will be having a communication day tomorrow so the team can call home.  They apologized that they have not been able to post any updates or pictures.  The internet is being repaired today in their host location today.  Tia informed me that even if the internet is not working tomorrow they will communicate with home by going to an internet cafe.   

Got an update late last night that the team is with their host ministry.  The team leaders informed us that they will post as soon as they can with updates.
