One More Week to Go! (4 Week Trip)

We have had a busy week here in Guatemala. We visited one of Pasto Antonio’s churches in San Juan, we finished our painting job in San Marcos, sang on Pastor Antonio’s radio show, and prayer walked through both San Pedro and San Pablo. We are excited to see what the Lord has for us before we leave next Friday! Please pray that we would finish strong in our last few days here. Here’s What the 2 Week Team is Up To!

Recieved this update from Cameron today —  Ministry,We have worked with a local church doing a vbs in the afternoons. Which has been awesome teaching, and playing with kids in the area. The kids have seen poverity for the first time and it has wrecked them. But it also ignited a passion in them to continue to work hard at spreading the gospel. We have gone to a nursing home, which in spanish will translate to home of the ancients. haha, but that has been good. Rica Chicas Plus Dos Love Costa Rica!

We are sitting in a cafe today watching the rain come down.  It’s the first time it’s really rained since we’ve been here. Everyone is have a great time and learning lots.We have spent time visiting families, putting on a VBS, lots of time playing with neighborhood children and have much more to look forward to next week. Feeding Children at a Carepoint

Sam loving one of the kids! Kayla holding one of the babies!!  We fasted yesterday and by 8:30am many of our stomachs were already making themselves known with rumbles of hunger. We had eaten a great dinner of salad, roasted veggies, pasta and even ice-cream the night before, but our bodies were ready for breakfast. It was a sobering moment as we thought about the kids we work with at thecarepoints each day. Big Things

Today the students got to experience, for most of them the first time ever, hut-to-hut ministry. We went to a town called Bristol and broke off into three teams and all went to different familes and people in the community to pray and encourage them. One group got to pray over a lady with severe malaria and we are all praying and believing she will be healed. It was so great to see the students come alive and have so much to share with the community. They all did so great and we were super proud of them. They took the lead and initiative to step out of their comfort zones and just go for...
